The metaverse offers a “big time” investment case According to CNBC, Thoma Bravo’s co-founder and managing partner, Bravo, believes “metaverse” will be the hot term in 2022. In an interview with CNBC’s Annette Weisbach on Friday, Bravo stated, “It’s investable and it’s going to be extremely huge.” The metaverse is a science fiction idea in which individuals wear a headset or smart glasses that allow them to live, work, and play in a virtual environment similar to the one described in the novel and film “Ready Player One.” It’s either a utopian dream or a dystopian nightmare, depending on your perspective.

Thoma Bravo manages more than $83 assets worth and includes more than 40 software firms in its portfolio. McAfee and Barracuda, as well as corporate software provider Dynatrace, are among the companies in which it has invested. Bravo is a crypto bull that owns an unknown quantity of bitcoin in addition to the metaverse.

“How could you not like crypto?” says the narrator. In September, Bravo remarked at CNBC’s Delivering Alpha conference. “Crypto is a fantastic system.” It’s completely frictionless. It’s a decentralized system. Young people, on the other hand, desire their own financial system. As a result, it’s here to stay.”
