According to the job advertisement that was placed on LinkedIn on September 25th, the Corporate Transactions Group of the Legal Department of The Walt Disney Company is seeking to employ a “Principal Counsel — Corporate Transactions, Emerging Technologies & NFTs.”
It is hoped that the attorney would provide all-encompassing product life cycle legal counsel and help for NFT items sold all over the globe. All of this takes done while keeping a tight engagement with different business stakeholders and other Disney lawyers.
It was necessary for the attorney to do Web3‘s due diligence.
The newly recruited worker will assist with due diligence for initiatives involving “NFT, blockchain, third-party marketplaces, and cloud providers.” In addition to that, they will lend a hand in difficult negotiations for an agreement as well as the drafting of documents.
