The MUTANT APE YACHT CLUB is a collection of up to 20,000 Mutant Apes that can only be created by exposing an existing Bored Ape to a vial of MUTANT SERUM
They also provide membership to the bored ape yacht club but not as high of a tier as bored ape NFTs
Mutant Ape Apecoin Staking
Recent estimates indicate a far higher APY for mutants for staking Apecoin in the near future when Horizon Labs releases that feature to the community.
as we can see on the info above, mutants seem to have a far higher APY in their exclusive pool. This may be part of the reason for the recent run up in the price of MAYC and why they have hugely outpaced BAYC.
BAYC Roadmap 2.0
